Blueberry Cheesecake Oats
Cheese cake is one of my favourite deserts and is now one of my favourite breakfasts! Its easy to make, ready to eat the next day and is delicious! You can do the overnight soaked oats version or you can cook your oats and add the same ingredients. Ether method is amazing 🙂 I have already discussed the benefits of oats for breakfast on my page Oats for breakfast PLEASE
For a high protein option just add two tablespoons of pure whey or whey protein concentrate (15g protein). I prefer the natural unflavoured whey powders as they don’t have any additives and don’t have that artificial aftertaste.
If blueberries are out of season you can use any fruit you like or just the frozen option, this recipe goes well with anything! I like using blueberries because they are high in fibre, full of antioxidant and low in sugar. If you feel the need to sweeten it more you can use a teaspoon of honey or a good sugar free alternative is xylitol.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do 🙂
